The OWOT-YWOT Bridge was a 32x16 coordinate square located next to the Spawn Box. Any edits made within it would be transferred to Our World of Text, a sister website of Your World of Text.

The first Bridge was created by Moth Cult Leader on August 31st, 2024.

Color[edit | edit source]

As OWOT supports colors and YWOT does not, any colored text on the OWOT end of the Bridge will be automatically converted to black. Similarly, any unicodes not supported by YWOT will be replaced by question marks on both sides of the Bridge.

Chat Bridge[edit | edit source]

September 4th, 2024

Created by Moth Cult Leader on September 4th, 2024.

A chatroom that relayed live messages from the OWOT Global Chat.

It was developed as a successor to the original chatroom.

Users could also type into the chatroom, causing their messages to be sent to the OWOT Chat under the username "[*####] YWOT."

Moth Cult Leader could block messages from appearing on the YWOT side of the bridge using the "!bridgeblock" command.

The creation of the chat bridge immediately led to backlash from both communities. Chenn in particular expressed his distaste in the Unofficial YWOT Discord, while at least one user came from OWOT to spam the area around the chatroom.
