• Note: Information on YWOT history is incredibly scarce. Parts of this page are based on mere assumptions, so take everything with a grain of salt. For instance: it's unclear whether the Mainpage was reset between 2010 and 2015, as parts of the 2010 North Road can also be found at the 2015 North Road. The only (seemingly) verifiable resets occurred on September 23rd, 2009 and July 15th, 2015.

The YWOT Mainpage has been wiped and archived multiple times in the past, with the current Mainpage being the sixth iteration.

The fifth Mainpage, where this version of the North Road was from, was subject to heavy griefing. Everything within 350 coordinates of spawn was covered by spam, all notable cities were erased on a regular basis, and most old subworlds were cleared via spider scripts. This culminated in the Summer of 2015, when the entirety of Mainpage was reset by Andrew Badr.

Elevator

Another trail from 2010, made out of two lines of black blocks, with a line of upwards pointing triangles in the middle.

Many travelers remembered the elevator fondly and built tributes to it.

Helix

Also known as the Beam, the second longest trail in the old north road.

The helix ends somewhere between Y:2600 and Y:2900.

Star Road

A handmade road consisting of star alt codes, collaborated upon by at least four people.

Ends at Y:2616.

Actual Road

A straight-forward road made out of alt codes, the longest and most prominent trail in the old North Road.

Compared to the other trails listed here, the alt code road appears to be relatively new. It covered up the helix at multiple points.

At one point the alt code road most likely ended at Nirvana(Y:10000).

The city located at Y:500.

A second mass of black blocks extended from Y:7000 to Y:7300. This one was much wider than the last, covering the entire screen.

Nirvana

Messages preceding 2015 Nirvana. Both were pasted multiple times.

Before the old mainpage was archived, Nirvana was griefed and restored multiple times. As a result two conflicting messages can be found as Y:10000 drew near: one claiming that Nirvana has been erased and another stating that it has been restored.

Ultimately there is little to be found at Y:10000 in the 2015 archive.

The space past Nirvana is mostly desolate, though a few travelers still chose to continue.
