North Road (2010 Archive)
- Note: Information on YWOT history is incredibly scarce. Parts of this page are based on mere assumptions, so take everything with a grain of salt. For instance: it's unclear whether the Mainpage was reset between 2010 and 2015, as parts of the 2010 North Road can also be found at the 2015 North Road. The only (seemingly) verifiable resets occurred on September 23rd, 2009 and July 15th, 2015.
An older version of North Road.
The YWOT Mainpage has been wiped and archived multiple times in the past, with the current Mainpage being the sixth iteration.
The third Mainpage, where this version of the North Road was from, seems to have existed for less than a year before being reset. Messages found on the road date from March 2010 to May 2010.
An archive of the 2010 Mainpage can be found at https://www.yourworldoftext.com/frontpage/~andrew/3.
Trails[edit | edit source]
Music Notes Trail[edit | edit source]
The longest northern trail in 2010, created by an unknown user nicknamed "The Musician" by travelers.
The creator of the Music Notes Trail remained completely silent throughout the span of the road(with the possible exception of a message at Y:2649).
Ended at Y:4624.

Y:5490[edit | edit source]

Y:7000[edit | edit source]

Nirvana(Y:10000)[edit | edit source]
The original Nirvana was merely a simple box with text in it.
By the time this version of mainpage was archived three people have reached Nirvana and signed their names at Y:10000.
They were:
- Jason McDowell/jkm/Fang - April 23rd, 2010 at 11:45 PM
- Aaron Friedlander(AF) - April 24th, 2010 at 12:41 AM
- Aaron Angert(A.A) - April 26th, 2010 at 11:05 AM
All three scrolled to Nirvana by hand and left messages along the way.
Beyond Y:10000[edit | edit source]
At the time mainpage was archived, there was almost nothing past Nirvana.
The space past Y:10000 was almost completely empty except for the number "11000" at Y:11000.
