North Road

North Road (sometimes referred to as the Great North Road, Route 69, or the Million Mile Road) is by far the longest and most popular road in all of YWoT. The road begins at Spam Central (the exact start coordinates are hard to pinpoint due to frequent griefing) and stretches north along X:0 all the way to Y:100,000 and beyond. The road changes structure at some point, starting at Spam Central as two separate, two lane roads for the first few hundred miles before eventually changing to an ugly, single, three lane road for the next million miles. North Road stays relatively well populated even after 5000 miles, while the other main roads are typically void by that point.

Great North Road runs north, perfectly centered on X:0. It starts in the Spam Central region near the spawn point, and runs north all the way to Y:1,000,005, where it ends unceremoniously. Few have made it this far.

History[edit | edit source]

Great North Road was created sometime pre-2018. There is no record of when the road was created, or by whom(though dino_inc has left behind messages saying that they made it), but it is clear that there was a lot of existing text along X:0 before it was paved over. This text was not preserved before the road was installed, and has since been lost to history. Many residents of the northern YWoT regions have expressed their anger and disappointment at this historic erasure, but alas, their cries go unanswered. The past is the past. What has been done, has been done.
