Bunnytown
Bunnies are a common encounter near the spawn, wherever they gather is called a Bunnytown. Bunnies are often simplistic in design, making them easy to draw, suggestive that anyone can build and create their own Bunnytown populated with a teeming army of...tiny cuddly wuddly bunnies.
It is unknown if a single artist or a group is responsible for these creations, or when it all started. What we do know is that bunny homelands have been brutally devastated by spam wars, delete griefers, or by some other sorts of catastrophes multiple times in the past. Many bunny settlements have failed in the harsh, hostile terrains of spam central. It is not known if they have, at one time, migrated to safer coordinates, or own their own YWOT page. They seem to have the intelligence and technology for it though, as seen in the gallery.
Bunny Design[edit | edit source]
The "default" YWOT bunny, which was the most common type from 2019 to 2022, has two ears that both point backwards. A tail is sometimes included.
This version is known for its emotionless "._." expression, though it can also be seen with a variety of other faces.

Split-eared versions of the bunny have also existed, with a blank eyed version being popularized by Chenn in 2023.

All variants of the YWOT bunny are simple to draw, allowing for newcomers to reproduce and manipulate their designs with ease.

Bunnies, in their current form, have been a staple of Your World of Text since at least 2019.[1]

The oldest known record of the YWOT bunny design dates back to July 25th, 2010 in a now obscure corner of the site. Aside from its legs, this bunny is largely identical to the current model.

A WikiHow article features two ASCII rabbits which closely resemble the YWOT bunny,[2] possibly being ancestors to the YWOT model. This article was from 2008, meaning that the bunny could potentially be older than YWOT itself. However it is unproven whether the WikiHow rabbits had any connection to Your World of Text.
So far, no conclusive answers about the origins of the YWOT bunny has been obtained.
What is known, however, is that bunnies have been a part of the site's culture for many, many years. It was likely passed down from user to user(as was the case from 2019 to 2024), though the design is simple enough that multiple users could have invented it separately.

Bunnadoes[edit | edit source]
Bunnadoes are bizarre natural phenomena which occur within a 10 coordinates radius of spawn. Within the bunnado, the bodies of rabbits spontaneously appear wherever cursors are placed. It is unclear what mysterious natural forces lie behind the formation of Bunnadoes. It is only known that unimaginable destruction is inflicted whenever they appear.

Eggnog World[edit | edit source]
A group of bunnies dedicated to the remembrance of Eggnog World, an eggnog based theme park from 2022. They are actively censored by undisclosed groups who seek to cover up the existence of Eggnog World.
Eggnogs are a popular beverage among bunnies. They have been known to consume it in wedding ceremonies, and even during times of war in order to maintain morale. It has been speculated that eggnog could potentially be a cure for the Wack.
The Eggnog manifesto, written by an anonymous person, goes as follows:
"Many refuse to believe this but Eggnog World was real, it was built in August of 2022 and it was heaven. There was a teacup ride and a merry-go-around and a pool and a bunch of other stuff and ALL of it was made of eggnog. Eggnog abounded, it was everywhere and it did literally not end. This was an idyllic utopia free of imperfections.
BUT
Eggnog World was closed down shortly after its creation. There were supposedly multiple ghost sightings.
Since then multiple factions with great amounts of power have attempted to suppress information regarding Eggnog World. These are the servants of SATAN, seeking to blind us all and take from us the memory of paradise.
"Eggnog World isn't real!" they say, "it was all in your head!" or alternatively "by God, you have completely lost touch with reality, please get some help I beg of you."
L I E S, all of it. Those soulless cretins want us to give up our freedom, they want us to forget the truth even when it's right in front of our eyes. And to my infinite disappointment they have been successful.
But not all have fallen for their trickery. There is a small group who know the truth, and fight tirelessly to preserve the memory of Eggnog World. They risk their lives for the preservation of justice, and the remembrance of a perfect society where eggnog flows endlessly.
Here are two true believers who work to prove the existence of Eggnog World.
There are many more, but they have kept their identities secret in order to avoid persecution."

Following the destruction of Eggnog World, the majority of bunnies were enslaved by Jonas.
Their brains were dissected in the Bunnytown Mental Institution in order to create a cereal brand known as Lil' Bits™.
